How I stay looking young, I dont have a clue! Something must be working!
I am no expert on youth full looking skin, But I am asked almost on a daily basis how I am looking young at my age I am also carded for everything from cigarettes to even lottery tickets.
I am 33 years old, a mother of 3, with my oldest being 15. The strangest part is, i don't see myself looking that young when I look into a mirror. But, when i look at other people, my own age, it seems they look old to me. I don't think i could ever date a male of the same age because they look old to me. My husband is 7 years younger than i am.
I have read a lot online not to smoke or it will make you age faster. But, I smoke, and have smoked for 15 years or so. I can remember when I was 19 , driving into a convenient store and the clerk stopped me just to ask, if i was old enough to drive. I thought that was funny back then.When i started working for the county nursing home almost 6 years ago one girl in particular asked me if, i was old enough to work there. I was 27 at the time. I can't count how many times an elderly patient has asked me where my mother is? So, why do i look so young? Is it genetics? My mother doesn't look young to me. Neither does anyone else in my faimly. I think when people started saying how young I look all the time it made me want to make sure I stay that way. .I started using a cream called, alpha hydroxy age defying skin cream, since I can remember. It only costs 1$, can u believe that.? Any kind of makeup or skin care stuff I buy has to say anti-aging, and I also love hot steamy baths and putting a steaming wash cloth over my face, maybe that helps my skin, and for years I have used firming masks at least once a week. Something must be working, at least that's what everyone tells me.
My mom says, I am addicted to trying to staying looking young, but its not that i'm addicted, I like the comments and especially when someone is shocked when i tell them my age of 33. I really do think, starting early with skin care is the key, with lots of hydration using lotions and steam on the face, I also used lots of lotions on my stomach when I wa pregnant with all three of my children and I never developed one stretch mark....

You're definitely beautiful and young looking. If I did not have all my facial hair, I wouldn't pass for 36. So, I keep my hair. I don't particularly care to keep up the young boy persona. :)

My mother was one of those that easily looked 10 to 15 years younger then her actual age for a very long time. When she was 40-43 she looked 27-29. I used to get so annoyed when guys would hit on her while we were out. I was a kid, my parents married. To me it was gross how they would drool over her.
There are pictures of her with me when I was a baby. She was 23 but looked 15. Looked more like she was an older sister.
your grandmothere was right..... My daughter is 29 and was asked last week for I.D. when buying beer in the supermarket for her husband ....... she had her two children with her also but no they would not believe. Quite a nice problem to have I presume, you definately dont look your age,,,,,,

If I didn't have all these wrinkles and adult acne and jaundice and tobacco stains and age spots and ill-conceived facial tattoos that appear after nights out drinking with voodoo practioners and weird hairs growing like randomly out of places that don't normally sprout thick black stalks of singular man-hairs, I would have perfect skin. I'm going to try that lotion though, maybe it will help.

You *do not* look 33. Good for you! And yes, the steamy baths do help, in the same way why women in England have "peaches and cream" skin. Moisture.

I got carded for smokes last week and had to laugh at the clerk as I gave him my I.D. By the way yamanot, I hate water, I do smoke and I dont have a good diet and never get plenty of rest. lol
